Woman hospitalised after being impaled on fence in Pollington
She was freed from the fence by the fire service
A woman has been hospitalised after she was impaled on a metal fence in Pollington.
Emergency services were called out to Main Street at around 2.30am yesterday (1st January).
Firefighters used small tools and an angle grinder to remove the fence from a wall it was attached to.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
