Police dog helps catch man after reported stolen car crashed in Hull
Officers say PD Riggs chased down the driver as he tried to run from the scene
A man has been arrested after a reported stolen car crashed on Anlaby Road in Hull.
Police say the driver tried to run from the scene in the early hours of yesterday (Tuesday, 24 February) - but was stopped by Police Dog Riggs.
The 37-year-old is being questioned on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, driving dangerously, driving whilst unfit through drugs, robbery, failing to stop, possession of a bladed article, assault by ABH and criminal damage to a property.
