Police appeal for witnesses following a collision on the A18
Three people were taken to hospital after the collision took place on Tuesday.
Police are appealing for witnesses after two vehicles collided at Mortal Ash Hill on the A18 on Tuesday the 14th of July. The collision happened at the junction with Kirton Road (B1398).
At around 12.30pm, a white Suzuki Celerio was travelling westbound on the A18 when, for currently unknown reasons, it reportedly collided with a silver Nissan Qashqai.
Both the driver and passenger of the Suzuki were taken to hospital for injuries that the police believe to be life-changing at this time.
The Nissan's driver was also taken to hospital for treatment. However, the driver's injuries are not thought to be life changing.
Officers ask that any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from around the time of the incident, or anyone who has information, to call them on 101, quoting log 194 of 14th of July.
