Collision in Pocklington leaves cyclist with serious injuries
Police seek information following a crash involving a car and cycle
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on the B1247, The Balk in Pocklington resulted in severe injuries to a cyclist.
The incident occurred around 4.45pm on Monday, 15th June, near the roundabout junction of The Balk and Station Road.
Reports indicate a red Dacia Sandero collided with a grey electric-assisted cycle.
The cyclist, a 58-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the precise circumstances of the collision.
Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the event or captured dashcam footage at the time to come forward.
