Pier Gardens in Cleethorpes closes for renovation work
Fencing has been installed around the gardens as project kicks off
Cleethorpes’ Pier Gardens has been fully closed to the public as major renovation works begin.
Maylim, the company in charge of the renovation, has started setting up main site facilities and installed approximately a mile of fencing around the gardens.
The closure includes all pathways leading from Central Prom and part of a pavement on Alexandra Road.
Initial project activities include creating site access from Alexandra Road near Dolphin Street.
During the project, paving and wall segments removed will be reinstated later.
Maylim plans to offer public walkthroughs during the renovation and hold ‘first go’ days for new play equipment and urban sport areas.
