Man arrested "with axe" in Hull

A man's been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in Hull.

Police were called to Spring Bank on Tuesday (17 March) to reports of a man in the back garden of a property with a suspected axe in his pocket.

An axe was recovered during the arrest.

The man detained by police remains in custody as investigations continue.
