Man arrested following tense stand-off on Beverley Road in Hull
Police say he tried to hide inside a building, but was eventually taken into custody on suspicion of affray.
A man has been arrested after police executed a warrant on Beverley Road, Hull, yesterday evening (5 March).
He’s accused of barricading himself inside a building as officers tried to get in.
The man is now in custody on suspicion of affray, with police and emergency services being at the scene all day.
A stretch of Beverley Road near Queens Road has been closed off - with people asked to avoid the area.
