Two teenagers arrested after armed robbery in Hull car park

Two teenagers have been detained following an armed robbery in Hull early this morning.

The incident was reported around 2.15am on Thursday, 19th March, when a teenage boy and girl allegedly threatened a car park visitor with a knife on Story Street.

After the intimidation, the suspects reportedly stole the victim's vehicle and fled.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.

Armed Response Officers were swiftly dispatched, and a search of the area led to the recovery of the stolen vehicle.

The two suspects were located nearby and found holding the vehicle's key.

Authorities have arrested a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl on suspicion of robbery.

Both teenagers are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
