Four charged after 40kg of class A drugs found in Scunthorpe

Officers conducted warrants at two addresses

Four people have been charged after officers found more than 40kg of class A drugs in Scunthorpe.

Officers searched two addresses on Farthing Avenue and Northampton Road as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in the area.

They seized suspected class A and B drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a suspected firearm.

The charges

Four men have been charged with six counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, two counts of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, and possession of a firearm.

They include:

  • Andrej Surkov, 43, of Thorsby Road in Scunthorpe
  • Arunas Kazlauskas, 39, of Farthing Avenue in Scunthorpe
  • Julilis Matijosius, 30, of Farthing Avenue in Scunthorpe
  • Egidijus Matijosius, 58, of Farthing Avenue in Scunthorpe

They've all been remanded in custody until they appear in court at a later date.
