Electric motorcycles seized after dangerous riding reports in Rawcliffe
Last night, an operation involving drone technology led to the seizure of electric motorcycles and action against their riders in East Riding of Yorkshire.
Following several reports from Rawcliffe residents about unsafe riding behaviours involving electric motorcycles, the Goole Neighbourhood Policing Team partnered with Rural Task Force drone operators and Goole Patrol Officers to investigate.
Drone technology helps locate offenders
On the 14th July 2026, the aerial surveillance successfully pinpointed two electric motorcycles and their riders, facilitating the seizure of the vehicles.
The riders faced charges for multiple road traffic offences.
