Two arrested in connection with stolen vehicle in Brough
Man and woman detained after vehicle theft report
A man and woman have been arrested as part of an investigation into the theft of a vehicle in Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire.
The suspected stolen vehicle was reported missing from outside a property on Warwick Crescent on Tuesday morning, 7th July 2026.
Officers located the vehicle which allegedly failed to stop.
Shortly after, a man and woman were seen walking away from the vehicle.
They were detained by police, with the man undergoing a roadside drugs swipe.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and drug driving.
Additionally, a 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
