Two men arrested in connection with attempted murder in Hull
Arrests follow serious assault on Carr Lane
Two men have been arrested following reports of a serious knife assault on Carr Lane in Hull on Sunday, 23rd August.
Officers were called in the early hours at approximately 4.30am to a commercial premises where a 31-year-old man had sustained serious stab wounds.
Emergency services attended, and the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Despite the severity of his injuries, they are not considered life-threatening, and he is in stable condition while continuing to receive care.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
Additionally, a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and he has been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
