Hull man charged with attempted murder after woman seriously injured

There was a reported altercation on Appleton Road

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was reportedly left with a serious head injury after an altercation in Hull.

Officers were called out to Appleton Road at around 5.40pm on 24th February, after reports of an altercation involving a weapon.

A man and a woman were arrested and charged.

21-year-old Scott Harrison, of Bridlington Avenue, has been charged with attempt murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

25-year-old Bethany Davis, of Appleton Road, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

They're due at Hull Magistrates' Court today (26th February).
