Appeal after three hurt in electric scooter collision in Hull

A 7-year-old boy and two men, aged 32 and 46, were hurt in Holderness Road

An appeal for witnesses has begun after reports of a road traffic collision on a footpath in Hull.

Humberside Police were called to Holderness Road Road at around 9.30am on Sunday, 29 March.

It is reported that the riders of an electric scooter were travelling along the riverbank between Holderness Road and Saltshouse Road before colliding with a pedestrian.

Emergency services attended, and a 32-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. The pedestrian, a 46-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision, and detectives have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information, including dashcam footage, to please contact the force on its non-emergency number 101, quoting log 142 of 29 March.
