National Highways have confirmed the A63 in Hull will be closed for much of January as work continues.

The road will be closed from the 5th January until the 1st February on weekdays, and overnight on the weekends.

Works are currently ongoing to lower the level of Castle Street at Mytongate to create a new junction.

Roadworks began in March 2020 and are reportedly set to finish in Spring 2026.

National Highways say the works will improve access to the port, congestion, safety and connections between the city centre and the tourist and recreational facilities.
