Teenager in hospital after Leicester City Centre stabbing
It happened just after 1pm
A teenager has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Granby Street in Leicester today (15th Jan).
It happened shortly after 1pm.
A 19-year-old was checked over by East Midlands Ambulance Staff who sent him to hospital after they arrived at the scene.
Police are appealing for information. They say no arrests have been made.
Inspector Ryan Ludlam, commander for the Central Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) said: “Officers will remain in the area both to carry out further enquiries and provide reassurance.
“Given this incident happened in a busy part of the city, I’m sure there will be people who can help our investigation. I’d urge any witnesses – including anyone who captured the incident on a mobile phone or dashcam – to come forward.”
