Woman suffers serious injuries after campervan comes off Nottingham road

She is being treated in hospital

A woman is being treated in hospital after a campervan came off the road in Nottingham, in the early hours of this morning (10th July).

Emergency services lifted the woman, in her 40s, out of the campervan which hit a tree when it came off Hucknall Road at 3.25am.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.Sergeant Craig Luckett, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation and Roads Policing Unit, said:

“A woman has suffered some extremely serious injuries and we have been working throughout the morning to understand how this vehicle came to leave the load.

“As our investigation continues I would like to appeal to any additional witnesses to come forward by calling 101 quoting incident 67 of 10 July 2025.”

A police investigation is continuing.
