Police are appealing for information after a car crash in Nottinghamshire which has left a man in hospital with serious injuries.

It happened on the A57 in East Markham at around 7.44am last Saturday (13th Dec).

A driver in his 30s remains in hospital.

The other driver, a woman in her 20s is receiving hospital treatment for less serious injuries.

Police Constable Aaron Hill, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“A motorist has suffered serious injuries following this collision so it is really important we understand exactly what happened.

“We’d like to hear from anyone who was on the A57 in this area on Saturday morning and saw either of the vehicles involved, a grey BMW and an orange Honda Jazz, in the moments prior to the collision.

“Likewise, anyone with relevant dashcam footage should please get in touch if they have not yet spoken to an officer.”
