Fourth man charged as police investigate gunshots in Derby
Police have charged a fourth man following reports of a gun being fired in Derby.
A fourth man has been charged after a gun was reportedly fired in Derby.
Police were called to an incident behind the R Lounge on Becket Well Lane at around 2:30am on 26 April.
Reuben Branford was charged with the following three offences on Monday (11 May) – affray, conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, and possession of a knife in public.
The 31-year-old, of Hawthorn Street, Derby, was remanded into police custody and appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court the following day where he was further remanded to prison.
These charges follow on from three other men being remanded to prison after being charged with the following offences:
Haroon Ahmed, 37, of Arnold Street, Derby, has been charged with conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Gary Anwar, 37, of Border Crescent, Alvaston, has been charged with conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Kylan Kelly-Basi, 20, of Charnwood Street, Derby, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.
