Police have released a CCTV image of a man they'd like to identify after a shop worker was threatened with a knife in Radford.
The incident took place at a food store on Radford Road, at around 12.40pm, on Tuesday the 18th of August.
A man verbally abused the worker, then brandished a knife and stabbed it into the shop counter.
After leaving the store, the man reportedly walked towards Colton Road.
PC Sean Parker, of Nottinghamshire Police's city response team, said: "This incident has obviously left the shop worker quite shaken and distressed."
"No one should have to come to work and be subjected to this type of behaviour and abuse, and we will continue to offer help and respond to incidents such as this whenever they arise."
"We believe the man in this image will be able to assist our enquiries and would encourage him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference number 026 of 18 August, 2026.
