Detectives in Nottingham are seeking to identify a man in connection with a number of serious sexual assaults in the Arboretum area.

The suspect has reportedly targeted sex workers over the course of nearly a year, from October 2025 to September 2026.

Police have received reports from both victims and the public, and there is potential evidence linking the suspect to five further offences.

Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man they believe may have important information, urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Efforts by the police have included plain-clothed patrols, forensic checks, and collaboration with local support services, but no arrests have been made.

Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow, leading the investigation, said, "These were frightening attacks on women, and whilst we are open-minded, we believe the same individual is responsible."

She added that no further incidents have been reported since September, but maintained that their determination to find the suspect is unwavering.

Those who recognise the man in the CCTV footage, or are able to provide information, are urged to contact the police immediately.

Neighbourhood Inspector Liz Gaskin emphasised the importance of police presence in the area and of working closely with Nottingham support services.

She encouraged anyone familiar with the man in the video to reach out to the police without delay.
