The family of a missing man have issued a statement as part of an ongoing investigation to try and find him.

Paul Pike, who is from Birmingham, had travelled to Derbyshire to attend the Derby County vs Birmingham City match at Pride Park on Saturday 21 March.

The 18-year-old was last seen outside the stadium at around 12:40pm on 21 March.

Paul’s family say they love him and are very concerned for his welfare and want him home safe.

A family statement said:

“Paul, you are not in trouble at all, we just want you home. Come home so we can look forward to the cricket season at Warwickshire and the rest of the season for the Blues.

“I will also sort out the away tickets for Hull.”

Officers have been making extensive enquiries as part of the search for him and those will continue.

Detectives are now appealing for any businesses in the Pride Park area to get in touch with us if they have CCTV which covered the path that runs along the River Derwent between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Saturday 21 March.

Please be aware we only want to hear from businesses who have not already spoken to us.

Paul is described as being white, around 6ft 1ins tall and of a slim build with short dark brown hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a Sergio Tacchino tracksuit top which is grey on the top and black on the bottom, a Burberry patterned baseball cap, navy blue polo shirt and blue jeans.

We are keen to hear from anyone who has seen Paul, as well as anyone who was driving in the Pride Park area at the time who has dashcam footage.
