Man arrested on suspicion of murder in Nottingham after death in The Meadows

A man's death in Nottingham is being treated as murder, and a 34-year-old man has been arrested.
Nottinghamshire Police say emergency services were called to a house in Ryeland Gardens in The Meadows in the early hours of Saturday 28 February.
They found a man with serious injuries, who was treated by paramedics but died a short time later.
Officers do not believe there is a threat to the wider public.
Detective Inspector Clare Gibson, from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU), said: “Our investigation is still in its early stages, but we are treating the man’s death as suspicious.
“We are working to understand exactly what happened inside this address, so there will be a significant police presence in the area while this takes place."
Nottinghamshire Police have asked any witnesses, or anyone with further information, to come forward.
