Attempted murder arrest after stabbing in Ilkeston
Police are investigating an assault in the town centre

A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Ilkeston.
It happened on South Street, in the town centre, at around 6.30pm last night.
A 33-year-old man was detained by police and is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.
A cordon is in place around the scene and officers remain in the area.
The man's condition hasn't been disclosed.
