Two arrested following Leicester stabbing bailed with police appealing for witnesses
Two people who were arrested following a stabbing in Leicester have been released on police bail.
Two people who were arrested following a stabbing in Leicester on Friday night (5 September) have been released on police bail, with detectives asking for witnesses to get in touch.
A man was found injured on Granby Street at around 10:40pm but it's believed he was attacked shortly before on Bishop Street.
He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were questioned on suspicion of attempted murder. They have been bailed while investigations continue.
Leicestershire Police said: "The street was busy with people at the time of the incident so there could be a number of witnesses.
"Anyone who may have information about what happened or anyone with dash cam footage to is asked to come forward.
