A man has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted near the M1 services in Leicester Forest East.
The woman in her 20s was approached from behind and pulled to the ground on Baines Lane between 6:20pm and 6:40pm on Saturday (25 April).
Tadeusz Podlasinski, 59 and of Wojska Polskiego in Nowa WieÅ› Wielka, Poland, is accused of attempted rape and intentional strangulation. He is due at Leicester Magistrates Court today (30 April).
