Man driving the wrong way down a Nottingham road charged by police
Ahmad Khalid has been charged with driving whilst unfit through drink.
A man has been charged after driving the wrong way down a busy road in Nottingham.
At 3am on Thursday, the driver of a silver Ford Fiesta was stopped by police after they spotted him on Maid Marian Way.
The driver was asked by officers to take a breath test but failed to do so.
Ahmad Khalid, 33, of Abbotsford Drive, St Ann’s, has been charged with driving whilst unfit through drink, failing to provide specimen for analysis and failing to cooperate with a preliminary test.
He's been bailed and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on August 19th.
