A man in his 20s is in a serious condition following a crash between a motorbike and a taxi in Derby.

A man in his 20s is in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a crash between a motorbike and a taxi in Derby.

It happened yesterday morning at around 3:45 (12 Oct) on Ashbourne Road, near the Brick Street junction with Friar Gate.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Derbyshire Police said: "We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly those with dash cam installed that may have captured the collision or the moments leading up to it.
