CCTV footage released by police investigating Nottingham sexual assault
A video's been released of a suspect officers want to find.
A video has been released by Nottinghamshire Police investigating a report of a sexual assault in West Bridgford.
It is reported to have happened at the Ruddington Lane Tram Stop at about 6.45am on 29 December 2025.
Officers have been analysing CCTV footage as part of their investigation, and they believe the man in this video will be able to assist them.
PC Saffia McDonald, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was understandably an upsetting incident for the female victim and we are determined to get to the bottom of what happened.
“We appreciate that the video is not of the best quality, but believe that if someone knows this man they will be able to identify him.
“The individual featured is described as being an Asian male in his mid-twenties.
“He has short brown and is estimated to be about 5’9”.
“If you are the man in this video, or recognise him, we’d urge you to please call 101 quoting incident number 78 of 29 December 2025 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
