Man in hospital following serious assault in Nottingham
A man has been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Nottingham.
Police have launched an investigation and a man is being treated in hospital following a serious assault in Nottingham.
It happened on the canal at around 9:00 this morning (17 July), near the London Road bridge.
Chief Inspector Craig Berry, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A man has been taken to hospital and a cordon remains in place.
“Officers are working hard to understand the circumstances of what happened and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“Anyone who saw the incident or has any information is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident 145 of 17 July 2025.”
