Body found in River Derwent believed to be missing Birmingham City fan
Officers searching the River Derwent near Pride Park discovered the body earlier today
A body, believed to be that of missing Birmingham City fan Paul Pike, has been found.
18-year-old Paul, from Birmingham, had travelled to Derbyshire to attend the Derby County vs Birmingham City match at Pride Park on Saturday 21 March.
Officers searching the River Derwent near Pride Park, close to where Paul was last seen, discovered the body just before 10.30am today (Sunday 29 March).
The death is not being treated as suspicious and there is not believed to be any third-party involvement.
A file is now being prepared for the coroner.
