Man arrested over sexual assault in Leicester city centre
Police are investigating an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning
A man has been arrested and bailed following a sexual assault in Leicester city centre.
It happened at the junction of Hotel Street and Market Place South shortly before 1am last Sunday, 26th October.
Police say a 19 year old woman was involved.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Leicestershire Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
