30 people now arrested in connection with Dale Martin murder in Derby

Police have now arrested 30 people in connection with the murder of Dale Martin in Derby.

Police have now arrested a total of 30 people in connection with the murder of Dale Martin in Derby last month.

Dale - known to his friends as DJ - was stabbed on Stenson Road on Sunday 15 June.

11 people have been questioned on suspicion of murder, nine on assisting an offender, three for affray, four for violent disorder, two for possession of a weapon, and one for perverting the course of justice.

All but one have been released on bail with conditions.

Kaylen Kelly-Basi has been charged with the possession of an offensive weapon, which was found during searches in relation to a related incident that took place earlier in the evening on Oaklands Avenue. He has been remanded in custody.
