Woman charged after schoolboy hit with car in Dumfries

A 62-year-old woman has been charged with careless driving after a schoolboy was struck by a car at a pedestrian crossing in Dumfries.

The 15-year-old suffered minor injuries at a pedestrian crossing on Brooms Road near Glebe Street last Friday around 3.20pm by a Red Renault Clio.

A report's to be sent to the procurator fiscal.
