Teenager arrested after cocaine and cash seized in Dumfries

Two people have been arrested in Dumfries after an estimated £4200 worth of cocaine, and a four figure sum of cash were recovered by police.

A 25 year old man and an 18 year old woman were arrested and later released on an undertaking to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Scott Wilson said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to removing them from our streets.

“This seizure underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
