Sheep left with serious injuries after dog attack in Annan

High-powered torches were seen on the farmland at around 10.30pm on Saturday.

Police are appealing for information that could help with the investigation of a sheep attack in Annan.

At around 10:30 on Saturday evening (8th February 2025), six sheep were seriously injured on farmland between Rosefield Farm and Stapleton Road by a dog.

High-powered torches were seen to be shone on the farmland around that time.

Police are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.
