Frankie the dog finds forever home after more than 400 days in kennels

A dog named Frankie has found her forever home after spending over 400 days at the Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre.
Frankie has now settled into life outside the kennels with her new family.
The centre, located near Dumfries, expressed their joy at seeing Frankie start this new chapter.
Frankie's new owners shared that she has been enjoying trips to a local secure dog park.
"We have found a local secure dog park and have taken her there for a run a few times which she seems to enjoy," they said.
They added that Frankie is quite the character at home.
"Half an hour is more than enough for her though, and then she wants back to her favourite chair for a snooze.
"She makes us laugh everyday with her awkwardness. She is ALWAYS stood where you want to go and blocks all doorways, almost as if it was her mission."
Her owners also mentioned her unique habits, like doing 'pre-flight checks' before walks.
"This is her standing stock-still in the doorway, assessing the garden and absolutely refusing to move for a good 2 mins."
"And she has the goofiest poses when sitting or sleeping which I find hilarious. Oh, and she wags her tail in her dreams!"
Frankie's new family appears to be delighted to have her, and the Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre couldn't be happier for her.
