Fatal crash on road between Annan and Gretna
Police seek witnesses for investigation

Police Scotland's road policing officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash on the B721 between Annan and Gretna.
The collision occurred at around 9.45am on Thursday, 20th August, near Dornock.
The incident involved a grey Mini and a black Range Rover.
The driver of the Mini, a 51-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
The Range Rover’s driver, a 62-year-old woman, sustained non-serious injuries and was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Hospital.
Currently, the road remains closed as crash investigation work continues.
Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant Andrew Hogg extended his condolences to the deceased's family, stating: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died."
He highlighted the ongoing effort to uncover all aspects of the crash and urged witnesses to assist the investigation:
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch."
“If you were driving in the area around the time of the crash please check any dash-cam footage you have and make contact with us if something has been captured that could assist with our investigation.”
