Police need witnesses after home targeted on High Street
Several personal items were stolen during a break-in at a house on High Street in Dalbeattie, occurring between 5pm on 31st July 2026 and 9.05pm on 1st August 2026.
Police Scotland is asking for the community's assistance in finding witnesses to any unusual activities around the area during the specified times.
Police Constable Tyler Barnard underscored the significance of public contributions in the investigation, saying: “We’re carrying out extensive enquiries and I’m asking for the public’s help. Were you in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious? Do you have private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage which has captured something which may help? If you have any information, please come forward.”
