Detectives are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a woman in her 20's was seriously hurt in a collision in Weymouth.

At around 12.20pm on Thursday 25 June a red Audi A1 and blue Ford Transit van collided on the A354 Weymouth Relief Road, between the Jurassic Roundabout and the Veasta Roundabout.

Emergency services attended and the driver of the Audi was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.

Police Constable Mark Palmer, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this collision and I am keen to speak with any witnesses who have not already contacted police.

“I would also urge any motorists who were in the vicinity and have dashcam footage to please check if they have captured anything that might assist our investigation.”
