Witnesses sought after serious crash involving elderly man in Bournemouth
Appeal for dashcam footage following serious road accident
Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after a serious collision involving a silver Honda Jazz and a pedestrian in Bournemouth.
The incident took place on Belle Vue Road at around 5.30pm on 11th August 2026.
The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, is currently in hospital in a life-threatening condition, while the driver of the Honda was uninjured.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill of the Roads Policing Team said that the road remains closed for scene examination.
He urged anyone who witnessed the accident or captured relevant footage to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, referencing occurrence number 55260124503.
