Two seriously injured after collision in Christchurch

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage after a serious collision in Christchurch.

It happened at around 6pm yesterday and involved a red Skoda Citigo and a white and black Honda motorbike on the A35 Lyndhurst Road at Roeshot Hill.

The rider and the driver were both taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police Constable Lauren Hobkirk, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“I understand a number of people stopped to help at the scene before police arrival and I would urge them to please get in touch.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the collision, or moments leading up to it, on dashcam footage.”
