Three people found with facial injuries following Poole assault

Police are investigating an incident in the Lagland Street area

Three people have been found with facial injuries in Poole, with police investigating it as an assault incident.

The first victim was discovered with lacerations to his face in the Old Orchard and Lagland Street area at around 2.00am on Sunday (26th January).

He was taken to hospital, with two other people sustaining injuries that didn't need further treatment.

A 22 year old from Poole has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and possession of a bladed article in public.

He's been released under investigation.

There's now an appeal for witnesses to come forward.

PC Niki Edwards, of Poole police, said:

“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.

“I understand there were a number of other people in the area at the time of the alleged assault and I would urge anyone who saw what happened to please contact us.

“Finally, I would like to hear from anyone who has captured any relevant footage, either on dashcam or home CCTV.”
