Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was injured in a collision in Bournemouth.
A silver car hit a pedestrian in Redhill Avenue at around 7.45pm on Thursday (5 February).
It is reported the car failed to stop at the scene.
The pedestrian, a 17-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police Constable Rhianna Sly, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Thankfully, the pedestrian in this incident was not seriously injured.
“We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or was travelling with a dashcam that may have captured relevant footage, to please get in touch.
“I am also appealing to the driver of the vehicle to do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
