A teenage girl's been assaulted on Sandbanks beach - and needed medical treatment for her injuries.

The victim is alleged to have been pinned to the ground and attacked by another female teenager at around 8.00pm last Friday (4th April).

It's believed the pair involved are known to each other.

There's now an appeal for any witnesses to come forward to Dorset Police.
