The highly-anticipated Teddy Rocks Festival, scheduled from Friday 30th April to Sunday 2nd May 2027, has announced its headliner for the opening night.

Beloved for its nostalgic pop night, this year’s event will feature Dizzee Rascal, grime pioneer and chart-topping artist, as the Friday night headliner.

Dizzee Rascal, known for hits like "Bonkers," "Dance wiv Me," and "Holiday," has been honoured with Brit Awards, MOBOs, and an MBE, cementing his status as one of the UK's most dynamic performers.

Tom Newton, the festival's founder, expressed excitement around the announcement: “Dizzee and his team have really gotten behind the cause we’re all fighting for and we are super excited to make this announcement for our Friday night line up. He’s a huge household name and we all love and enjoy his music. We’re extremely grateful for their support and can’t wait to see it all come to life.”

This charity-driven festival, aimed at fighting childhood cancer, has raised over £1,000,000 since its inception in 2011, benefiting various children’s cancer charities and supporting research.

Festival-goers can expect a weekend filled with music, community spirit, and family-friendly activities, including fairground rides and a wide range of food and drink options.

Teddy Rocks Festival continues to be recognised as one of the UK's 'Best Festivals for Families'. The weekend promises memorable performances and will significantly contribute to important charitable efforts.

More exciting act announcements are expected in the coming weeks, ensuring a special weekend filled with music and goodwill.
