Racist outburst prompts appeal for witnesses in Bournemouth

Police request public assistance to identify the man involved in a racially charged confrontation

On the 3rd June 2026, a racially aggravated confrontation unfolded near the Lansdowne roundabout in Bournemouth, with police now seeking help from witnesses to identify the man involved.

The incident occurred at around 9pm, when a man directed racial abuse towards another man and two women before moving on to walk along Bath Road.

The individual is described as white with a medium build, dark hair, and a short full beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt under a black open shirt and jeans at the time of the incident.

Police Constable Sim Churchill from Bournemouth police stated, “We have been making enquiries into this incident since it was reported."
