Police launch image appeal after woman sexually assaulted in Weymouth

Police have launched an image of a man they want to identify after a woman was sexually assaulted in Weymouth last year.

The victim, a woman aged in her 30s, was staying in the town between Sunday 3rd of August and Monday 4th of August 2025, during which she spent time in the company of a man, who she only knew by his first name.

It was reported that during the man sexually assaulted her on a number of occasions during this time.

Police Constable Alex Constantine, of Weymouth police, said: “We have been carrying out a full investigation into this incident and have explored a number of lines of enquiry to identify the man reported to be involved."

“I am now issuing an image of a man we would like to identify and would urge anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
