Police seek information following incident on Salisbury Road

Dorset Police are seeking witnesses after a property fire in the Christchurch area was deemed suspicious.

The incident occurred at around midnight on 12th June 2026 at Salisbury Road in Burton.

After receiving the report from the fire service, Dorset Police joined them at the scene for further investigation.

Detective Constable Neil Causebrook from BCP CID stated that the investigation is ongoing and encouraged anyone who observed unusual activity at the time to come forward.

He said: “Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing and I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from any residents with relevant home CCTV or doorbell camera footage, as well as any motorists who may have dashcam footage that could assist our enquiries.”

Individuals with home CCTV, doorbell camera footage, or dashcam recordings that could aid the investigation are also urged to reach out.
