Police investigating after woman in her 50s found dead at flat in Bournemouth

Police are investigating after a woman in her 50s was found dead at a flat in Bournemouth.

Emergency services were called to Paddington Grove at around 2:25am this morning and the woman was confirmed dead at the scene.

A cordon is in place at the address and the woman's next of kin have been informed.

Dorset Police say enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances surrounding the woman's death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.

The force say there will be an increased police presence in the area and are urging people to respect the privacy of those involved and not speculate on social media.
